Health Minister Mohammed Nasim, after visiting Khadiza at Square Hospital in Dhaka on Thursday, said she was taken off life support earlier in the day as her condition improved further.
“She can move the right side of her body. The left side is still paralysed,” the minister told reporters.
“Everything necessary for her treatment is being done,” he said and added that there was ‘no need’ to take her abroad now.
